The sender and the deliverer can communicate with each other via the Delmyway chat.
Sender and Deliverer can send messages on Delmyway or use mobile/phone services to find out the whereabouts of the delivery item.
The deliverers are not movers. While you can ask for their assistance in moving an item, deliverers are not obligated to do so. If you have a large or heavy item that requires lifting, make sure to arrange someone at both pickups and drop off location to load and unload the item.
When Sender accepts offer, money is deducted from the senders account and held with Delmyway. At the time of delivery when the OTP is verified and goods successfully delivered, the money is credited in the deliverers account.
All the deliverers on Delmyway are people of the community and the services depend on goodwill and trust.
There is a possibility of a deliverer not being able to arrive on the day of the delivery due to unexpected situations. However, the deliverer can notify the sender in advance, via Delmyway chat if he/she is unable to deliver the goods on the agreed date.
In such a situation the status of the delivery can be changed from accepted to new and the previous offers will become available for the sender to pick from and negotiate.
If the deliverer does not turn up on the date without prior notice, negative feedback or poor rating could lead to difficulty in receiving new offers.
